Point of Something Pointless

Just watched part 2 of Hunger Games: Mockingjay and oh boy, despite the criticism, I still find it to be quite entertaining. I guess I did not really have a big expectation or anything and just go for the sake of completing the Hunger Games series. But the finale of Hunger Games seems to bring perspective about how harsh life can be, don't you think?

Point of Something Pointless

Katniss' hardship starts from the day she volunteered to save her sister from the Hunger Games (or even before then since they are living in the poorest district 12). It started with her love for her family, trying to protect the life of her very own sister. And yet, at the finale, she still lost her sister. Ouch! (#spoiler)

Kinda makes us thing how many things we have sacrificed to reach certain life goals. Do you have those goals which seems impossible and yet, unbearable to let go? I suppose at the end of the day, what matters is whether you enjoy the journey or not, notwithstanding that it looks like a great deal of hardships from other people's perspective. After all, if you enjoy the ride, does the end matter?
