Best place to eat by yourself, a fast food chain
Fast food chains are heaven to all solo diners. This is the best eating place to eat alone without feeling judged by other people. In addition, they are everywhere especially in the big cities. Needless to say, this is where I usually be whenever I'm hungry and alone. Hahaha.
If you ask me which fast food chain that I visit the most, the answer would probably McDonalds. Since young until now, I've been a fan of McDonalds no matter how bad people say the food is for the health. To be honest with you, I don't think other fast food chains sell healthy food either. At some McDonalds' outlet in Singapore, there is a smaller stall called McCafe which sells coffee/ chocolate drinks and dessert items. This is the first time I try the iced mocha and well, it's not bad and yet, not yet Starbucks' level. Can't really complain because the price is cheaper too at SGD 3.90.
One thing that I would like to try the most from McDonalds recently is the latest signature collection series. McDonalds basically comes up with three "atas" burgers ("atas" here means posh), Classic Cheese with Angus Beef, Spicy Chicken with Apple Slaw, and Spicy Tortilla with Angus Beef. Sally looks pretty excited when I bought one this signature burgers from McDonalds. Haha.
Right, let's see here, since it is a signature burger after all, the packaging is somewhat different and so is the size of the burger. Size-wise, the signature burger is definitely bigger. It uses different buns (better quality one) too. The veggie topping is the rocket leaves instead of the normal lettuces.
First bite and wow, it is really spicy. Just like the McSpicy kind of spicy but it taste so good when you eat the chicken patty together with the sweet apple slaw. Well, I have to say the posh burgers from McDonalds may be something really good in quality.
And they better be because the burgers ain't cheap. The ala carte price for the Spicy Chicken with Apple Slaw Burger is SGD 7.90. And this is the cheapest burger among the three. But at least, you don't really need a date to enjoy eating the burger inside McDonalds all by yourself. Hahaha.
