Happiness is Gratitude

Sometimes, you forget what you have just by seeing what other people have. People having good relationship, people having better wealth, people travelling all the time, people having cute pets, people having babies, people who are famous, people who seems to be favored by other people. The list is endless. To be honest, thinking about "why can't I be like that? why can't I have that" is like poisoning oneself. Thinking without action will not bring anything after all.
But our brain. Sometimes refuse to stop thinking huh. 
If you really have to think, probably it is better to think about all the good things that you have. The fact that you are still breathing, that you are healthy, that you are in the comfort of your bedroom, that you are able to travel (even though it may not be to the place that you desire yet), that you can eat good food. Those things which we may have taken for granted could be difficult and near-impossible for some people out there. Gratitude after all is the beginning of happiness.

Happiness is Gratitude

I love to travel so I will just put the picture of myself travelling as that is when I'm happy the most. Having a travelling companion is something that I've always been grateful for. It is not easy to find someone who's willing to meet, let alone travel with you especially when everyone is busy with their own life. I suppose rather than thinking of what life may have been if I have what other people have, I should cherish what I have at the moment. Family, close friends, healthy body, a job (no matter how challenging it may be), a roof, internet connection, and so on. 
Hope you can count your blessings even though life seems sucks sometimes.
