3 Reasons of Why Doing Nothing Is Not A Bad Thing

Oh yeah, it is not a bad thing, after all. 


1. It gives your brain a time to recover

Life in a modern world exposes us to an "insanely busy" kind of daily activities. Emails to check, meetings to attend, reports to draft, and the list goes on. Our poor brain is squeezed to its limit and guess what, the work is never ending. Do nothing will let your brain rest from all this information overload and addiction to work. Breath, brain, breath. 

2. It may lead you to fresh ideas

Some people associate doing nothing to boredom. While this may be true, after you do nothing for too long of a time, the boredom may push you to do something else or find some alternatives to what you are currently doing in life. A new hobby to pursue? A new place to visit? A new way of doing things? Oh boy, sky is the limit. 

3. It gives you chance to appreciate things

You will not be able to appreciate what you have or what exist around you if you barely have time to breath. By doing nothing, you have time to feel and enjoy what you probably don't know you already have. Take a break and enjoy life.
