Three Tips to Make Monday Bearable
Let's face it. Not all of us love our jobs, especially if we treat is as a mean to pay the bills and not because we do our job because we love it. If Monday has to come and has to be miserable, are there at least something that we can do to make it bearable?
1. Remember your #lifegoal
If you have not found one, don't give up. Keep an open mind to find a new thing to try or a new skill to learn. You may still have not found what you are looking for but trying on new stuff may lead you to your dream. A #lifegoal may need some steps to learn before you can achieve them and these steps may not come free so remembering your #lifegoal will motivate you to come to office on Monday morning.
2. Plan fun things for the week
Life is too short to be spent on working in the office more than 12 hours per day. Personally, 8 hours is barely bearable and it is already a third of our life within a day. Fun things for the week can be anything from the new episode of Game of Thrones season 6 (yeay!) or fun classes at the gym or a nice rendezvous with friends. Mid-week shopping works well too if you just receive your salary.
3. Take it easy
Since you know you still have 5 days to go in this week, why don't give yourself a break on Monday? After all, all of us can do with an energy-conservation by not running out of steam so fast on the first day of the week. Let's learn to work like the Sloth from Zootopia. After all, don't forget that he's able to afford a Ferrari despite his work pace.
