5 Reasons to Continue Playing Games Even If You are An Adult

I still love playing games even until late 20s. If I have my playstation and telly with me, I'm so gonna hide in my room all weekends. #hikikomorimodeon

Benefits of Playing Games

1. You will be happier

Some researchers link someone's mental state to playing games and the result says that adult who play games are tend to be happier compared to those who do not play games. This is probably because they do not have any distraction to let them forget about their problem, even for a while. To be honest with you, being able to fulfil my boat mission in Hayday do kinda make me a tad satisfied.

2. You have faster reaction to things

This is because you are trained to make a quick decision in a game, e.g. when you have to decide whether to continue attacking or retreat from a battle. A strategic game also tend to squeeze your brain a little. In this kind of games, choice does matter. A wrong choice taken at a wrong time can lead to a game over. Who says you don't need brain to play a game? =P

3. Improve your accuracy

I suppose games like Bejeweled (omg, I sound ancient) or Soda Crush (okay, maybe not that ancient..hehe) do train your accuracy toward matching block. Am I the only one who feels that chocolates in Soda Crush are getting more and more irritating?

4. You can get recipes too

Especially if you are playing cooking games like Cooking Mama. Although the accuracy of the recipe is kinda question mark. Some cooking games do take real recipes to apply in the games though. Anyway I don't really cook so the fact that I'm able to cook in the game world has already make me satisfied. A satisfied chef gamer. #uselesspride

5. It helps you socialize

By giving life/heart/item/feed animals. Online games will also allow you to network with other online gamer especially for those missions which require a team work. I am a kinda antisocial gamer so at most, I will only send/ request life for my Soda Crush game. LOL.
