Three top slice-of-life anime to show life's perseverance

During my spare time, I really love catching up on my anime(s). I suppose I have the otaku trait in my blood. LOL. But really, sometimes I find watching anime is more inspiring than watching those Korean drama. Am I weird? Well, weirdness is appreciated in anime world so... =P

One of the anime genre that I love is slice-of-life anime. Probably because the characters' life struggles are happening in their daily life, I can relate to them better in certain way. If you like this kind of anime but dunno what to watch, jump!

1. K-On!

K-On! tells us a story about four Japanese high school girls who join the light music club of Sakuragaoka Girl's High School to try to save it from being disbanded. One of the main characters did not have any experience whatsoever to play musical instruments or reading sheet music but it turns out well although the girls' journey is not without its own up and down.

2. Bakuman

Bakuman tells a story of high school buddies', Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi, journey to become a number one manga artist. This anime is interesting to watch because it shows behind-the-screen life of manga artist and how much work is involved to create those manga that we love to read so much. I have grown up reading manga and I am still reading one until this day. #nevergrowup

3. Shirobako

Similar to Bakuman, Shirobako also shows the journey of a group of high school friends, Aoi Miyamori, Ema Yasuhara, Shizuka Sakaki, Misa Todo and Midori Imai, who all go into the anime industry after their experiences in the animation club of their high school. They have the same dream to work on an actual anime together one day. Shirobako also shows behind-the-screen of how an anime is created. Turns out it's not as easy as we thought.
