Why do you feel sleepy in the office?
Hi everyone, how's your week so far? I can only be grateful that tomorrow is already Friday. I have been feeling so tired these past few days I don't know why. I always feel sleepy in the office, even since the morning. I wonder if this is due to lack of sleep or lack of feeling toward my job. Oops, let's just hope it is not the latter. I talked about it to my friend and even, googled about it (okay, I'm probably just bored until I doze) and here are the possible causes:
1. Snoozing the alarm clock for too many times in the morning
Some study says that you will wake up more refreshed if you wake up immediately after the first beep of your alarm clock. But, seriously, sometimes the temptation to just snooze it off is too big for me, a mere human, to handle.
2. You eat too many sugar-loaded food during lunch
Right, this is probably true because I do like to enjoy my sugary drinks (hey you, bubble teas and friends) after lunch. But, but, aren't they tea? Tea is supposedly containing thein which should not make you feel sleepy, right?
3. You just simply not having enough sleep in the night
Uhm, okay, I am guilty of this. But there is only 24 hours a day and unfortunately, we have spent at least a third of it in the freaking office (still no raining money in 2015) and we barely have enough time to do anything else in life. On a brighter note, at least I'm not wasting my sleeping time on working until dawn. #selfrighteousness
With all the jokes aside, I suppose we should really take care of our sleeping time more seriously. More and more young people dies because of lack of sleep despite the healthy lifestyle (e.g. routine exercise and eat salad and other healthy stuff everyday).
"Sleeping is nice. You forget about everything for a little while."
